Zuora, which makes subscription commerce, billing and finance solutions, has established a new web-based developer center, and has added 30 new applications to the online marketplace Zuora Connect. The developer site offers an app builder starter pack and a community board, as well as other tools, to aid in third party app development. The apps offered on the marketplace are aimed at helping companies and their accountants manage subscription-based business.
The apps on Zuora Connect cover tasks such as quoting, financial operations, data ingestion, e-signatures and ERP integrations.
Some examples of what’s new in Zuora Connect are lockbox synchronizations (a simple security measure) with banks including Bank of America and Wells Fargo; and connectors to data providers such as Amplitude and MailChimp, the app stores Amazon and Apple, and tax management solutions Sabrix, Vertex and CCH.
