VSCPA partners with 12 states on DEI education

The Virginia Society of CPAs is partnering with 12 states to introduce its Ethical Considerations in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion course to more professionals across the country.

The VSCPA’s course is designed to create a foundation of DEI education in the accounting workplace and explore the ethics surrounding unconscious bias, decision-making and critical thinking.

Authored by international, national and state leaders. the course can be taken online with options for individuals or groups. The course meets the ethics continuing professional education requirements for CPAs in Virginia, as well as other states across the country.

The 12 state societies to which the VSCPA will bring its DEI course include the California Society of CPAs, Illinois CPA Society, Florida Institute of CPAs, Greater Washington Society of CPAs, Massachusetts Society of CPAs, Michigan Association of CPAs, Minnesota Society of CPAs, New Jersey Society of CPAs, North Dakota CPA Society, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Tennessee Society of CPAs and Utah Association of CPAs.
