Vertex, which makes tax automation technology, has created a software integration between its indirect tax solutions and Acumatica’s enterprise platform.
Vertex tax functionality is available in both on-premise and cloud versions. Acumatica customers can now access this software for automated sales and use tax calculations, and signature-ready returns.
Vertex indirect tax solutions integrate into the Acumatica Accounts Receivable Module for all sales and use tax transactions via a connector. The Acumatica enterprise resource performance platform offers sales and use tax calculation and returns, in any jurisdiction.
“As the global tax landscape increases in complexity, and businesses strive to be more competitive, this integration provides Acumatica customers with enterprise-ready tax functionality, helping to drive business success,” said Paul Beirnes, managing director of partner development at Vertex, in a statement.
This new integration comes on the heels of Vertex’s appointment of a new chief tax officer - transaction tax, Mike Bernard.
