Vault.com names top accounting internships of 2020

Online career resource Vault.com announced its 2019-2020 rankings of the best accounting internships, along with a number of other best internship categories where top accounting firms were well-represented.

Vault polled more than 14,000 current and former interns this past summer to help determine their rankings. Interns were asked to review their internship experiences, as well as how prestigious they considered an internship at a particular company would be. Interns were asked to only rate companies whose reputations they were familiar with before Vault averaged the scores and ranked them accordingly.

Among accounting internships, Top 100 Firm PKF O'Connor Davies took top honors this year, jumping up from the No. 8 spot last year. Elliot Davis and Moss Adams placed second and third place, respectively. PKF O'Connor Davies also placed tenth on Vault's top 100 internships of 2020, with Elliot Davis and Moss Adams placing No. 12 and No. 17, respectively. Plante Moran also placed in the top 20 internships of 2020 at No. 19.

The Big Four were also represented on Vault's "Most Prestigious Internships" of 2020, joining the likes of Google, Apple and Amazon. Deloitte placed at No. 17, followed by EY at No. 30, PwC at No. 40, and KPMG at No. 47.
