UHY Advisors and UHY LLP have acquired the professional services firm Pratesi, Salemi & Company LLC and the valuation firm Brentmore Valuation Advisors, in West Hartford, Connecticut.
Both firms will operate under UHY’s name, effective Nov. 4, 2016.
The acquisitions will allow UHY to re-enter the Connecticut market, which UHY exited in 2010. All 10 associates of Pratesi, Salemi & Company LLC and Brentmore Valuation Advisors are expected to remain with the combined firm at their current offices in West Hartford.

Frabotta in a statement. “Their addition is an opportunity for us to take advantage of the organic growth opportunities available to us in the Northeast while bringing UHY’s signature brand of service to businesses and organizations in the Greater Hartford area.”
UHY Advisors, based in Chicago, ranked 33rd on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $113.7 million in annual revenue.
