UC Davis launches two online accounting certificates

The University of California, Davis, is launching two online accounting certificates this fall.

The Continuing and Professional Education’s Accounting Program will offer two redesigned online certificates: "Accounting Principles" and "Accounting Specialist." The four-course Accounting Principles certificate will focus on fundamental and intermediate skills found in both financial and cost accounting, while the five-course Accounting Specialist certificate covers more advanced topics, such as financial statement analysis, auditing and taxation.

The Accounting Principles and Accounting Specialist certificates will also offer students a prepaid “fast track” option, giving them a 15 percent discount on the cost of both programs. The combined credit from both programs fulfills the accounting education requirements to sit for the CPA Exam.

Both programs will begin on Sept. 23, 2019. For more information, email cpeinfo@ucdavis.edu or head to UC Davis's site here.
