Transition Advisors and Whitman Business Advisors announced that they have merged to form Whitman Transition Advisors, effective immediately, creating the largest M&A and consulting organization focused exclusively on CPA firms in the country.
Firm services will include mergers & acquisitions, talent acquisition, owner succession consulting, partner retreats and business advisory service offerings.
The new firm will also be aligned with the C-Suite IMPACT Group of companies, which offers additional services in M&A, recruiting, and fractional CFO services to privately held business clients of CPA firms.

The Transition Advisors team of consultants, which includes Bill Carlino (a former editor-in-chief of Accounting Today), Nancy Egan, Russ Best, Mark Basinski, and Kay Conklin, will join the Whitman Transition Advisors’ team, which includes David Wolfskehl, Walter Brasch Rick Fisher, Jeff Kraft, Don Leavy, Kim Nguyen, Dick Shippee, Barry Wagman, and Marc Horowitz.
