TaxCloud provides a sales tax compliance application programming interface (API), inside a cloud platform. Retailers of any size can use the TaxCloud website to get started collecting sales tax in any and all U.S. states. By integrating directly with a site like eBay, the TaxCloud API delivers batch process sales tax calculations for addresses in the U.S., as well as automated registration, filing and remittance services, audit response and indemnification to its clients. In addition to the new eBay and QuickBooks Online connections, TaxCloud already provides similar integrations with the Amazon Marketplace, Etsy, Shopify, Bonanza and WooCommerce.
“TaxCloud’s integrations with eBay and QuickBooks Online expands our portfolio of integrations with leading eCommerce platforms supporting sellers ability to be compliant with the changing sales tax landscape in the U.S.,” said TaxCloud CEO David Campbell in a statement. “TaxCloud’s investment in integrating with leading platforms is growing and we will be announcing additional integrations shortly.”
