Risk management and internal audit services provider Protiviti Inc. has acquired P.G. Lewis & Associates, a data forensics firm specializing in corporate investigations and litigation support for civil, dispute and regulatory matters.
Terms were not disclosed.
P.G. Lewis provides data forensics investigations and litigation support services nationwide in civil and criminal matters involving digital evidence.
As part of the acquisition, Paul Lewis, founder of P.G. Lewis & Associates, has joined Protiviti as a director. Lewis has 16 years of executive management experience in network security and business communications. He will be based in Protiviti's New York office. In total, some 19 P.G. Lewis employees will join Protiviti.
This is Protiviti's second deal over the past month.
In February, it acquired Creative Options and Radius, both Waterloo, Ont.-based companies specializing in loss prevention and risk management services in the retail sector.
