Rochester, N.Y. (April 14, 2004) -- Payroll and benefits services provider Paychex Inc., based here, has acquired the remaining portion of Lake Mary, Fla.-based labor management software concern Stromberg.
Terms were not disclosed. In October, Paychex acquired Stromberg’s proprietary Time In A Box time-and-attendance product for small and midsized businesses.
The Stromberg suite of products includes time and attendance, employee self-service, scheduling and similar workforce management solutions.
Paychex said all Stromberg employees would be offered positions with the company.
The deal marks the third acquisition for Paychex in 18 months. Previously, the company absorbed payroll services providers InterPay and Advantage Payroll Services.
