The New Jersey Society of CPAs announced the recipients of its 2022 Ovation Awards to honor those who have made significant contributions in advancing the accounting profession.
Winners were announced during the NJCPA's 2022 Convention & Expo, held on June 16.
Forty-one NJCPA members were chosen in all, with categories including a Lifetime Leader Award; and awards for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Exceptional Educators; Emerging Leaders; Impact; Innovation; and Woman to Watch.
Individuals were nominated by their peers, members of the local community and the NJCPA for their contributions in advancing the accounting profession.
“It’s an honor to award these prestigious individuals and celebrate their many accomplishments and dedication to the accounting profession," said Ralph Albert Thomas (pictured), CEO and executive director of the NJCPA, in a statement. "It is particularly rewarding to be able to do that in-person this year.”
