The National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts has launched a new virtual home at
Founded in 2017, the association looks to train and support experts in Social Security matters who have passed its RSSA Competency Exam. The RSSA credential looks to prove that "accredited financial advisors have been educated in a foundation of Social Security advanced concepts and trained to use analytical software to provide specific Social Security claiming options for clients, resulting in financially beneficial retirement strategies," according to the organization.
The RSSA credential program has been approved for continuing professional eduation by the Internal Revenue Service, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
NARSSA was co-founded by Michael Rosedale, a Wantagh, New York-based CPA and firm owner, who previously founded 1800Accountant.com, CPADirectory.com and PTINDirectory.com. He is currently the managing partner of Rosedale and Drapala CPAs in Wantagh.
The launch of NARSSA.org looks to support RSSAs with a number of online resources, including continuing education, business development tools, and client relationship management solutions. Users will also get access to Microsoft Office 365, Social Security maximization software, invoicing and payment solutions, advisory support services, and a proprietary SECA Tax Savings Calculator, which determines how much a business owner 50 years and older can save annually on employer and employee Social Security taxes without sacrificing future benefits.
