Government data and service software developer Legal Data Research LLC has released Track1099.com, a Web-based service for 1099-MISC e-file and recipient e-delivery.
Track1099.com can be used as a stand-alone resource for small business owners and CPAs, but also integrates with cloud-based financial software systems such as Bill.com, Intacct and Intuit's QuickBooks Online, to securely upload the required 1099-MISC information to the IRS.
“In 2009, 32 million 1099-MISC paper forms were submitted, creating a literal mountain of paperwork, which opened the door for multiple errors and caused countless headaches for business owners and CPAs,” said Legal Data Research chief executive Sharon Lindsey West. “As cloud computing has become more secure and the IRS continues to push for electronic filing, Track1099 becomes an obvious solution to some very real pain points.”
Track1099.com is an approved information e-services provider by the IRS and its e-delivery of 1099-MISCs conforms to IRS guidelines.
