Latest update of CCH Axcess Audit makes heavy use of integrations

Wolters Kluwer announced a major update to its CCH Axcess Audit solution, which sports multiple integrations with other key CCH Axcess modules to provide insights and support workflow automation.

CCH Axcess Audit brings together CCH Axcess Engagement, Validate and KnowledgeCoach into one platform. It also builds on CCH Axcess Engagement Essentials. This allows the platform to integrate customers' audit applications with tax prep, time and billing, practice management, workflow optimization and client collaboration tools. Since this is all on a shared platform, all CCH Axcess modules connect automatically. The solution also sports integrations with TeamMate Analytics and TeamMate Document Linker to offer a data-driven approach to scanning documents and linking evidence.

The integration with CCH Axcess Knowledge Coach in particular allows for a risk-based approach to auditing. The solution's features enhance the checklist-based methodology and are fully integrated with CCH Axcess Engagement, allowing for dynamic updates throughout the entire audit process. Meanwhile, the platform also includes access to the CCH AnswerConnect research platform for tax, accounting, and audit. CCH AnswerConnect now leverages generative AI to produce responses within its natural language Q&A function.

The latest release also introduces new features such as trial balances that support multitier consolidations and in-depth reporting, standardized data ingestion and automated ratio analysis. Further, it supports multi-user, real-time, anywhere access with limited offline document editing capabilities. It also offers support for 22 industry title within a wide range of sectors.

CCH Axcess Audit supports firms of all sizes and encompasses a migration to CCH Axcess Engagement. Wolters Kluwer is further expanding its influence into audit workflows by offering more data extraction options and workflows for employee benefit plan audits. The platform's data-driven approach is backed by new additions to the marketplace, including AuditMiner and Finagraph.

"With CCH Axcess Audit, we are igniting a transformation in how professionals approach auditing," said Cathy Rowe, senior vice president and segment leader for the U.S. professional market. "Our platform empowers firms to embrace agility and innovation, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional value to their clients while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance."
