The Illinois CPA Society announced the recipients of its 2021 Excel Awards, recognizing Uniform CPA Exam test-takers with the highest scores in the state.
Award winners must have a combined average score of 90% or higher on all exam sections within two consecutive testing windows, in addition to placing in the top 5% of all Illinois scores. The Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, listed below, represent the top three scores in the state.
“Earning the CPA credential has historically presented accounting graduates with a runway to professional success and is one of the most notable ways to establish your professional identity, so it’s always a privilege to welcome and recognize Illinois’ new CPAs that will lead this great profession forward,” said ICPAS president and CEO Todd Shapiro in a statement. “By achieving the highest scores on the Uniform CPA Exam in Illinois, these individuals exemplify excellence, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make as trusted and strategic business advisors.”
