Eide Bailly is expanding its presence in Las Vegas by adding the consulting firm JW Advisors and the CPA practice of Bryce Wisan.
JW Advisors was recently named one of the “Best Firms to Work For” by Accounting Today. Managing partner Kirk Jacobson will become partner-in-charge of Eide Bailly’s Las Vegas office.
Jacobson said he was attracted by Eide Bailly’s culture. “Culture is paramount to us, and we’re eager to join a firm with similar values,” he said in a statement. “We’ll have a bigger footprint in the market while retaining the personalized service our clients value.”
A total of 14 staff members and two partners will be joining Eide Bailly from JW Advisors. Also joining Eide Bailly in Las Vegas will be Bryce Wisan, formerly of Wisan, Smith, Racker & Prescott and a former president of the Nevada Society of CPAs’ Las Vegas chapter.

Eide Bailly, based in Fargo, N.D., ranked 20th on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $224.6 million in annual revenue. The firm has 29 offices in 13 states.
