Doeren Mayhew, a Top 60 Firm based in Troy, Michigan, is adding Kaplan Merzlak PC, a firm in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Kaplan Merzlak PC has been providing accounting, tax and consulting services to privately held companies and high-net-worth individuals for over 35 years. Shareholders Jeffrey Kaplan and Eric Merzlak will join the Doeren Mayhew leadership team and continue to service their clients. They and their staff will relocate to Doeren Mayhew's headquarters in Troy.

"We feel confident Doeren Mayhew is the right firm to partner with to help accelerate our clients' growth and opportunities, today and into the future."

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Kaplan Merzlak has roughly a $3 million practice. Doeren Mayhew earned $117 million in annual revenue and ranked No. 51 on Accounting Today's 2022 list of the Top 100 Firms.
