K2 Enterprises has announced the winners of its 20th annual K2 Quality Awards, which recognize quality in accounting technology. Corpay One, an AP solution, is this year’s winner of the Prime award, the category that recognizes excellence in a range of quality markers.
Past winners of the Prime award include AccountantsWorld, Right Networks, and Doc.It.
In announcing this year’s award winners, Randy Johnston, shareholder and vice president at K2 Enterprises, was impressed with the innovation. “The software publishers are responding to customer demand with improvements in their products,” he said in a statement.
Every year the Prime award is given to one company that fits these criteria:
- Reasonable management goals and expectations;
- Long-term stability in the accounting market;
- Clear and honest communication with employees and market influencers;
- High-quality products;
- Top-shelf customer support;
- Significant commitment to product development and product improvement; and,
- Great management vision and direction for both current and future plans.
If it is deemed that no company fits the criteria, then no award will be given. This year’s winner, Corpay, provides a payments platform for businesses.
“Corpay One has driven down the costs of accounts payable management with an innovation and simple drag and drop workflow”, said Brian Tankersley, director of strategic relationships for K2 Enterprises, in a statement. “The competitive labor market requires every business to do more with less, and accounting firms and their clients can help firms automate many of the largely manual workflows associated with entering, approving, and paying vendors.”
In addition to the Prime award, K2 names award winners in 20 individual categories. For 2021, these are the category prize winners:
