CliftonLarsonAllen, a Top 10 Firm, is growing its presence in Pennsylvania and Florida by adding Concannon Miller, a tax, accounting and consulting firm based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, effective Nov. 1.
The deal will increase CLA's Pennsylvania team to more than 330 people and its Florida team to over 450 people. Concannon Miller has clients in different industries, including McDonald's franchisees and nonprofits.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. CLA ranked No. 8 on Accounting Today's 2022 list of the Top 100 Firms, with over $1.4 billion in annual revenue.
"Growth for CLA is about enhancing our ability to create opportunities for our clients, our people, and our communities," said CLA chief geographic officer Scott Engelbrecht in a statement Friday. "We're always seeking ways to help — whether personal, financial, or business. Welcoming the Concannon Miller team members supports our promise to know and help those around us."
CLA has more than 7,500 people working in 121 locations in the U.S. The over 130 former Concannon Miller team members who are now joining CLA will continue to serve clients from locations in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Concannon Miller was incorporated in 1962, but its roots date back to the 1920s.

Koltin Consulting Group CEO Allan Koltin advised both firms on the combination. "CLA continues on its magical journey of adding deep and specialized talent to the firm," he said in a statement. "What is notable here are two distinct qualities Concannon Miller team members bring to the table — experience at one of the preeminent accounting and tax firms in Lehigh Valley and also 'famous' nationally in serving McDonald's franchisees."
