CPA and consulting firm Cherry Bekaert has launched its Technology Solutions Group, aimed at meeting the technology and business intelligence needs of the firm’s clients. The group will be led by the newly hired managing director Toby Stansell, and director Jim Holman.
Stansell joined Cherry Bekaert from a boutique technology consulting firm where he served as president and chief operating officer. In his new role, he is charged with advising clients on how to apply and leverage technology to improve operational and financial performance. He will be based in the firm’s Atlanta and Greenville, S.C. offices, and will also work with clients of Cherry Bekaert’s THInc specialty practice, which provides financial services to growth-oriented technology, health and industrial sector companies.
Holman has more than 25 years of experience advising clients with business flow, manufacturing and distribution processes, and analytical reporting. His experiences centers around IT due diligence engagements and has previously played key roles in IT/systems divesture projects and IT post-merger integration projects, according to the firm. As well as serving as director for the new Technology Solutions Group, he will also act as a consultant for THInc, and is based in Atlanta.
Cherry Bekaert was listed at no. 25 on Accounting Today’s Top 100 Firms list for 2017, with annual revenue of $164.2 million.
