"Cyber events over the last two weeks have proven the importance of having the right technology partner in your corner," said Adam Lloyd, CEO of Pioneer Technology, in a statement.

News of the new venture comes after Blue & Co. launched Blue Value Advisors, a business advisory and exit planning service line to be led by Sara Jacobi, Walt Eckert, Eric Jaske and John Copeland, at the beginning of this year. That is also when the firm hired Randy Smith as its new chief information officer (see previous story).
