Top 100 Firm BerganKDV is adding in Des Moines, Iowa-based firm Brooks Lodden.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Brooks Lodden’s 31 staff will bring the combined firms’ Des Moines staff to 61 employees. BerganKDV, which ranked No. 80 on Accounting Today’s 2019 ranking of the Top 100 Firms with $55.73 million in revenue, has 459 team members overall in seven offices.
“The synergy we are producing will benefit all involved,” said BerganKDV’s Des Moines market leader, Adam Tillman, in a statement. “I am looking forward to getting the entire team together in one office location later this fall. … Our clients will find additional opportunities to grow and succeed as a result.”
All of the combined firms’ Des Moines staff are expected to relocate to a new 17,000-square-foot office in the Paradigm Building at 12100 Meredith Drive in Urbandale in late November, and the firm plans to hold an open house and ribbon-cutting in December.
“We are both broadening and deepening our service offerings,” Brooks Lodden shareholder Tony Wagner said in a statement. “In our conversations with Adam and others at BerganKDV, it became apparent that our organizations shared a common goal of putting clients’ needs first and building unwavering relationships with those we serve.”
