Utah-based practice management solutions company Avii has released Avii Workspace, a practice management platform for tax, audit, advisory, management consulting and compliance organizations. As accounting technology is becoming more advanced, there is increasing demand for truly unified suites of technology, rather than disparate apps pieced together to manage a firm’s workflow.
According to the company, the software provides an integrated suite of software-as-a-service technology for accounting firms, including a client portal, project management, document management, review cycles, KPIs, analytics and more.
While Avii reports that larger firms were among the platform’s early users, the company states that the practice management tool is scalable, making it accessible in its entirety or in part for solo practitioners and small and emerging firms as well. The company’s key vision, it says, is accelerating the advancement of automation for the largest firms while also making the relevant features available to all professionals via affordable SaaS monthly subscriptions.
“Avii has served KPMG and other leading finance, advisory and audit organizations for the past 18 years,” said co-founder and CEO Lyle Ball in a statement. “Rapid advancements in automation have shifted the core value that clients desire from financial and audit professionals away from verifying numbers and checking boxes—to confirming the accuracy of automated processes, then providing value-add analysis, business intelligence and guidance. Smaller firms have no IT department and no money to invest in what many would consider basic technology infrastructure or tools but are sharply aware of the need to automate or lose out. Avii opened the door for professionals on any size team to automate, scale and increase client satisfaction for less than $100 a month per employee.”
