The first tool released as part of this new branding is a cloud-based business intelligence tool that officially launched today. Called Sherlock, it consolidates data across multiple engagements to then analyze and deliver insights on ways to be more efficient and grow faster. Additional new products and updates are planned over the next three to five years.
The announcement comes on the heels of worldwide growth for Caseware over the past few years, including 250 new staff members and the acquisition of three distributors in the U.S., Denmark and the Netherlands.
“These are exciting times for the accounting and auditing industry, as digital transformation takes us to places we never imagined,” Caseware CEO David Osborne said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to equipping more accountants and auditors around the world with solutions that meet their high expectations for speed, accuracy, responsiveness and, equally important, their desire for easier collaboration and insight-driven problem-solving. Supported by our thoughtfully-designed tools and platforms, they can focus on what matters most: building stronger relationships with their colleagues and clients — and we’ll be right there alongside them as a trusted, innovative partner.”
