ADP has released a host of new products for businesses of different sizes, mainly focused on time and scheduling. The products come at a time when the American workforce is finding its way back to a post-pandemic “normal.”
Small businesses get a new timekeeping tool
For small businesses that use RUN powered by ADP and have less than 50 employees , ADP has released ADP Timekeeping Plus Scheduling. The module works with RUN to manage time, attendance, and scheduling in one place.
Features include the owner dashboard, which brings immediate attention to tasks owners need to do, while highlighting who is working, who is out, and where labor is being spent. Unplanned hours, absences, and overtime can also be monitored from here.
Collaborative scheduling allows employees to work with managers to create work schedules.
ADP Timekeeping Plus Scheduling also includes the ADP Time Kiosk, an app that turns a tablet into a touchless workforce management device. Employees can log in using Facial ID and can use voice commands to clock in and out, record meal breaks, and review their timecards.
Midsized businesses get skills-based scheduling
ADP has upgraded its new Advanced Scheduling product with skills-based scheduling capabilities. For use with ADP Workforce Now Essential Time, these new tools are designed to help managers get the job done within budget and with employee satisfaction and safety in mind.
Skills-based scheduling software matches people in the talent pool with the right jobs. Managers can indicate whether a task requires a worker with a certain skill, who speaks a specific language, or who has a specialty license or certification.
Managers can view and display the cost of a schedule. Totals are shown by employee, by day, or for the whole schedule period. Managers can also define rules like the maximum hours per day or maximum consecutive days someone can work. The limits can be enforced as schedules are created and modified to ensure the business avoids premium pay situations, if they so choose.
Like with ADP Timekeeping Plus Scheduling, ADP Workforce Now Essential Time allows for collaborative scheduling.
International businesses can now use ADP Workforce Manager
ADP Workforce Manager is now available to large enterprises globally. The software provides data and insights that allows businesses to manage their workforce more effectively.
The solution features intelligent forecasting, mobile access from anywhere, and integration with ADP DataCloud. The analytics tool allows leaders to see management metrics alongside turnover, hiring and other key data.
