Anduin rebrands to Aiwyn

Artificial intelligence-based accounts receivable software provider Anduin is changing its name to Aiwyn to reflect its expansion to serving small and midsized firms, as well as its entry into the market to serve law firms as well.

Aiwyn, which is pronounced "I win," is an Old English name that translates into "wise friend," emphasizing the new brand identity. The announcement builds on the success of the company's Intelligence-Based Billing product, which was named an Accounting Today Top New Product for 2021.

“From day one, we’ve had a clear mission: unlock time and money for professional services firms," said Aiwyn CEO Justin Adams in a statement. “Our first 18 months in market have been a massive success, and we’re thrilled with the return on investment we’re delivering to our customers. As we now enter a new phase as Aiwyn, we’re excited to expand our platform to deliver more value to an even wider market of firms in need."

Ellen Choi, the company's chief product officer, said that while the particulars may vary, accounting firms generally share a set of goals, which Aiwyn aims to help them achieve.

“Each firm faces unique challenges and opportunities, but they have the same big-picture goals — to free up their people to focus on great client service, find and capitalize on new growth opportunities, and create more robust, sustainable margins. Here at Aiwyn we built our Intelligence-Based Billing platform alongside the finance, operations, IT and executive teams at top-ranked firms, and we’re excited to introduce our solutions to even more firms and continue delivering measurable value," she said in a statement.

Last June, the company raised $14 million in seed capital.
