The Association for Accounting Marketing, the trade association focused on marketing and business development in the accounting profession, announced the recipients of its 2022 individual Marketing Achievement Awards during its annual summit.
Individual awards are presented annually by AAM in recognition of outstanding achievements in the accounting marketing profession, as well as contributions to AAM. This year one professional was inducted into the Association for Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame, in which inductees must have 10 or more years of service and be known for notable contributions as leaders of the association.

- Brenda Sleeper — BDO BRN relationship director for BDO Alliance, Sleeper has served in a senior leadership role at a national firm as well as other key marketing leadership roles in the industry for nearly 25 years. Sleeper has been an AAM member since 2001, was previously named AAM’s Volunteer of the year in 2010, and served on the AAM Board of Directors from 2012-16. She also served on the Business Development and the Member Growth committees and continues to be the AAM Ambassador.

- Korby Boswell — An AAM member since 2017, Korby Boswell, senior marketing and growth specialist at Adams Brown, chairs the AAM's Member Growth Committee and helps oversee AAM Circles, small communities of like-minded members sharing information around a specific topic or role. Korby was previously named AAM Rookie of the Year in 2019.

- Bethany Silvis — A marketing supervisor for Kerkering Barberio & Co., Silvis updated the firm's social media activity, website, intranet and newsletters. Silvis also manages digital webinars and produced a series, "A Day in the Life of a CPA," to use as a recruiting tool. She also sits on the University of South Florida Muma College of Business Customer Experience Advisory Board as a program advisor.
