Sage Copilot available to early adopters

ERP and accounting software provider Sage announced that its Sage Copilot generative AI solution is now available to certain early adopters among US and UK Sage Intacct users as part of Sage Intacct Release 4. Sage Copilot is a generative AI bot that coordinates specialized AI agents to automate particular tasks like processing an invoice. More specifically, the new release features Sage Copilot Variance Analysis, which provides real-time insights and automatic alerts on budget variances, allowing budget managers to identify errors and variances by comparing budgeted with actuals or period-over-period data (available in US and UK); Sage Copilot Search Help, which provides users with direct, conversational answers to queries (available in the US); Sage Intelligent Time Enhancements, which has enhanced new features such as time clocks and rate cards, Sage Intelligent Time meets the needs of professional services, retail, and manufacturing industries (Available in US, CAN, UK, AUS, ZA); a new connector for Continental Utility Solutions, Inc. (CUSI) which streamlines data flow between utility billing and financial management (available in US); language accessibility improvements to supports French-Canadian and Spanish (Spain) languages in an open beta available to all users (available in all regions); expanded Developer Capabilities with REST API which enables create custom integrations (all regions); and localized features for France.

MS Consultants acquires Tax Credit Hero 

MS Consultants, a cost segregation consulting firm, announced that it has acquired Tax Credit Hero, a secure, cloud-based computing platform made for conducting R&D tax credit studies. Specifically, the Tax Credit Hero platform connects users with automated solutions that work to amass specialty R&D tax credits and incentives to provide cost savings for businesses. The acquisition of Tax Credit Hero aligns with MSC's commitment to innovation in the tax credit space and will expand the company's existing service offerings. The managing director, Dave Fabian, said it will help their own customers maximize their incentives every year without overpaying for services.  

Bloomberg announces expanded Compliance Tracker

Bloomberg Tax and Accounting announced a significant expansion to its Compliance Tracker tool, which is used by tax professionals to track the progress of their filing obligations as well as automate things like the tracking and gathering of deadlines and forms. In response to customer feedback, Compliance Tracker users can now track and collaborate on filing activities for income tax obligations in over 200 countries. Additionally, Compliance Tracker now supports automated monthly VAT forms for more than 100 countries, as well as monthly sales and use forms for U.S. Sales & Use taxes.

Esker expands Connectivity Suite
