Accounting solutions provider insightsoftware announced it has launched its new environmental, social, and governance solution, a modular solution with a pre-configured, expandable data model streamlines compliance while supporting various reporting frameworks. The software allows customization based on an organization's materiality assessment. It also manages all reporting entities, data collection and consolidation processes in a single platform and provides BI and analytics to help organizations create interactive reports and dashboards. It also streamlines CSRD compliance by generating sustainability reports compliant with Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) filing requirements. SolixECS touts enterprise-grade document management on a budget

KPMG partners with Microsoft on GPT capabilities

Big Four firm KPMG announced it is collaborating with Microsoft to create new capabilities for its proprietary generative AI tool built on the back of Microsoft's OpenAI service. Specifically, the firm worked with the tech company to develop "Advisory Content Chat," built with Microsoft Azure search, which draws from the source locations of approved materials, with safeguards and controls, and can reference the source data it is pulled from. KPMG said it is the first organization to develop a tool using Microsoft Azure AI Search that can access documents at their source and incorporate the technology into its GPT capabilities.

Bloomberg Tax Fixed Assets integrates Tax Workpapers

Bloomberg Tax & Accounting announced a significant enhancement to its Bloomberg Tax Fixed Assets software through a new integration with Bloomberg Tax Workpapers. The integration enables both import and export functionalities and allows users to manage their fixed assets data lifecycle from initial data entry to final analysis and reporting. Specifically, the software now automatically cleanses and transforms ERP data for use in the Fixed Assets system; provides clear visibility into the data transformation processes for both auditors and risk managers; and offers users control over the amount of time and effort required for data preparation and import. The update also includes a new feature for applying cost segregation study results to assets, enabling the calculation of 481(a) adjustments necessary for Form 3115 compliance. 

Lattice builds payroll solution into platform

Lattice, a people and performance solutions provider, announced the addition of a new payroll solution into its HRIS and Talent suite. Lattice Payroll will include W-4 onboarding, time tracking, employee payslips, trend reporting, and AI-powered anomaly detection. Also,when employees join or leave the company, change their address, or have adjustments to their compensation, the updates can be surfaced and exported to a business's preferred payroll provider. Lattice is partnering with Gusto to bring this functionality to the platform.

Sax launches e-learning platform

Schellman receives CREST pen testing accreditation

Top 50 Firm Schellman announced that it is now a CREST-accredited penetration test provider. To achieve this, Schellman successfully completed an assessment process that examined test methodologies, legal and regulatory requirements, data protection standards, logging and auditing, internal and external communications with stakeholders, as well as how data security is maintained. Earlier this year, Schellman also announced that it received accreditation for France's Health Data Host certification services, the first U.S.-based firm to do so, and that it can now support Australia's Infosec Registered Assessors Program assessments

Accounting firm-focused cloud solutions provider Rightworks announced it has acquired Australia-based accounting-focused cybersecurity provider Practice Protect. Rightworks will integrate Practice Protect into its OneSpace intelligent cloud. For markets outside of the U.S., including Australia and New Zealand, Rightworks will continue to offer Practice Protect on a standalone basis, supported by the current Practice Protect global teams. … U.K.-based accounting solutions provider Bright announced it has acquired MyWorkpapers, a digital working papers solution for accountants and auditors in the U.K., Ireland and Australia.

Fintech company Clair announced a new partnership with payroll infrastructure company Check, whereby platforms using Check to build and launch their payroll businesses can opt into offering Clair's on-demand pay solution without needing to build any software. … Digital asset fintech io.finnet announced the integration of WalletConnect into io.vault, offering users a way to interact with decentralized applications in the Web3 ecosystem across all of the supported networks. …  Airwallex, a global payments and financial platform, announced an integration with QuickBooks, so Airwallex customers can connect with the popular accounting software and sync their Airwallex transactions across supported currencies into their QuickBooks Online account. …  AI fintech Auditoria.AI announced a new agreement with Workday to enhance supplier management and accounts payable operations for customers. The reseller partnership will deliver an AI solution to improve and help streamline specific accounts payable and general ledger functions to complement the capabilities of Workday Financial Management.
