Corporate accounting solutions provider insightsoftware announced the launch of a new reporting solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central users, Jet Reports Online (insightsoftware acquired Jet Global Data Technologies in 2019.) The foundation of Jet Reports Online is Reports Center, a cloud-based portal designed for management and cross-functional collaboration within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Cloud. Finance teams can run, schedule and distribute their reports in one centralized location. Jet Reports Online is powered by the insightsoftware Platform, giving users access to AI tools like Doc Assist, Data Assist and Report Assist. The Reports Center, meanwhile, enables organizations to automate the running, scheduling and distribution of reports from anywhere with an internet connection. Finally, the integration of Jet Reports Online with Excel Online streamlines key financial reporting tasks. 

InterVAL updates business customization features

Financial management solutions provider interVAL has upgraded its Business Reports feature to allow advisors to customize and create shorter, streamlined and more specific reports for their SMB clients. The reimagined reporting feature is now available to interVal users, designed for advisors to present business insights. Users can give clients a snapshot of where they are and what can be done next; select and arrange key metrics and valuation data to match client needs; provide detailed, tailored insights on key metrics performance; start with ready-made templates; and save and share reports in a professional, client-ready format.

Financial operations solutions platform Decimal has partnered with accounting automation solutions provider Puzzle to form a strategic alliance to, among other things, transition hundreds of clients from KPMG's Spark Ledger to Puzzle's AI-powered ledger. … Financial insights platform MindBridge announced an official partnership with data intelligence platform Databricks. The partnership allows users to apply MindBridge's financial risk analytics to the data stored in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. … Foxit, a provider of PDF and e-signature products and services, and Pax8, a cloud commerce marketplace, have entered into a strategic partnership. Foxit's solutions will now be offered via the global Pax8 Marketplace. Users will now be able to access Foxit PDF Editor, Foxit PDF Editor+, eSign for Business and Foxit AI Assistant. … Expense tracking software provider Fyle announced its direct integration with QuickBooks Desktop. With this integration, businesses can automatically sync employee expense data from Fyle.

New hires and appointments

Rightworks, a cloud services provider built for accounting firms and professionals, has named Jenny Buchholz as its chief financial officer, effective Feb. 3, 2025. Reporting to CEO Joel Hughes, Buchholz will lead the finance function as the company continues to expand into new markets and deliver its OneSpace platform. In her role, Buchholz will support the company's goals and strategic initiatives with her financial experience in strategy, governance and risk management. … Spend management solutions provider Emburse announced that Jonas Hirshfield has joined as the company's CIO. Prior to this, he was CIO at remote learning solutions provider Class Technologies.

Practice management software solutions provider Qount announced a $17 million investment led by Savant Growth and backed by its investment partner, Kennet Partners. As part of the investment, Qount's new CEO, Peter Miele; Savant Growth's managing partner, Javier Rojas; and principal Olivier Verhage will join the board of directors.
