MASSACHUSETTS

Brad Rendall was hired to the new role of franchise relations at Antares Group, Dedham, where he will be providing financial counsel and advice to owner/operators of McDonald’s, the corporation where he worked for more than 20 years.

MISSOURI

Michelle Marler was hired as a manager in the tax department at Abeles and Hoffman, St. Louis.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Donna Yetter, part of the commercial services team, and Edward Boyd, who works in governmental services, were admitted as principals at Melanson Heath, Nashua.

KPMG board member Linda Addison

Jeffrey Weiner, chairman and CEO of Marcum, New York, was inducted into the Long Island Business Hall of Fame at a ceremony hosted by Long Island Business News Nov. 8. Weiner was one of 12 individuals recognized for their influence in the growth and success of Long Island. In other Marcum news, Peter Scavuzzo, partner and chief information officer, was named Innovative Technology Leader of the Year by LEA Global, recognized for leading Marcum’s digital transformation and his advocacy of leveraging technology to ensure the firm remains competitive.

Mark Marten, principal at Mazars, New York, joined the firm’s health care consulting group.

Jeff Drummonds, CEO of LBMC, was named a Top 100 Business Journal Influencer in the finance category by The Business Journal in its “Influencers: Finance,” which recognizes 100 executives who are impacting business. Drummonds was also recently named a 2018 Most Admired CEO and 2018 Power Leader in Finance by the Nashville Business Journal.

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Gerard Schreiber received the 2018 Arthur J. Dixon Memorial Award by the Tax Division of the American Institute of CPAs, presented at the AICPA Fall Tax Division Meeting. The AICPA also presented Troy Lewis with the Tax Division Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding contribution to the work of the Tax Division over the past year.
