Fourlane, Austin, created the Fourlane Scholarship Fund to award college students pursuing a different path than traditional accounting roles. The scholarship, reviewed and distributed by a scholarship advisory board, will go to students who are, for example, interested in financial strategy and creativity, automation, and accounting software implementation instead of audit or tax. Fourlane’s hope is that recipients will go on to pursue careers as Certified Management Accountants, financial management accountants, software implementation consultants and technical accountants.
