Kathy Ryan, chair and founder of RoseRyan, Newark, was one of 14 people selected for Silicon Valley Business Journal’s C-Suite Awards, recognizing leaders who have successfully managed and innovated through the pandemic, according to the publication.

Dark Horse CPAs, Cardiff by the Sea, announced a Principal Accelerator Program to assist CPAs in building a scalable book of business at the firm. Participants go through a training program that acclimates them to the firm’s bot-enabled tech stack, and then a proprietary sales training and one-on-one coaching. After completion of the training, they begin building their book of business by fielding inquiries from prospective Dark Horse clients.

FLORIDA

The Florida Institute of CPAs, Tallahassee, announced its annual continuing professional education conference MEGA will take place virtually June 8-11. The event encompasses two conferences, State Tax and Employee Benefits, and features more than 50 live and interactive sessions. More information is available here.

Windham Brannon, Atlanta, was named a Top Workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for the sixth consecutive year, ranking No. 3 out of 68 companies in the midsized company category and No. 1 in the CPA firm category.
