Kicking off the partnership, CAF hosted a webinar on entrepreneurship and financial empowerment featuring Congressman Anthony Gonzalez; Congresswoman Joyce Beatty; Congressman Donald Payne; Donald Remy, COO and chief legal officer of the NCAA; and Sheldon Cummings, chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer and sales leader at Intuit. Niles Citrin, co-founder at Citrin Cooperman, New York, announced his planned retirement from the firm on June 30. Citrin has worked at the firm alongside co-founder and CEO Joel Cooperman for 40 years.
Jeffrey Smith was appointed vice chairman and U.S. real estate leader at Deloitte, New York. He succeeds Jim Berry, who assumed leadership of the U.S. real estate practice in 2017 and will be retiring from Deloitte after nearly 36 years in May.
