The Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners announced its 40th Anniversary Silver and Bronze Award Winners. Donald Ingram of Woodbury has received the Silver Award, which recognizes longstanding commitment to NCCPAP and the CPA community, and Richard Finelli of Babylon has received the Bronze Award, which recognizes influential leaders in the chapter. Continuing professional education provider myCPE has launched "1 Credit = 1 Meal," a social initiative that will donate one meal to the underprivileged for each educational credit earned on its platform. It has donated more than 20,000 meals so far and is aiming to distribute more than a million by 2020.
