ILLINOIS

Thomas Walker will be appointed managing partner, central U.S., at Baker Tilly US, effective June 1. 

Richard Lynch and Antony Nettleton were named managing partners of the CPA business at Sikich, Chicago, succeeding Tom Krehbiel, who will retire at the end of the year. 


MICHIGAN

Charles Story was appointed director of operations for corporate investigative services at Rehmann, Troy. Story assumes the role from Bill Kowalski, who announced his retirement in March.

NEW JERSEY

KPMG announced it will hold its 2023 KPMG Women's Leadership Summit on June 21 at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield. 

NEW YORK

Jason LaRue was hired in the new role of national managing partner of talent and culture at KPMG, New York, where he will lead a team responsible for driving talent and culture operations and programs.

Wade Becker was hired into the newly created role of chief revenue officer and Michael Eby will succeed Becker as managing partner for the Capital region footprint at RKL, Lancaster. 

Patrick Sweeney was hired as a senior manager in the risk advisory practice at Schneider Downs, Pittsburgh.

Michelle Lee was hired as a small business accounting services senior associate at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill. In other firm news, director of human resources Susan Yohn was recognized as one of Central Penn Business Journal's 2023 Women of Influence, to be recognized during a ceremony June 27.

Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz, Media, released a leadership podcast, "Follow Our Lead with Alaina Kearney," featuring Delaware Valley trailblazers offering leadership insights.

David Stonesifer and Joseph Witkowski were elected to their second five-year terms as chief executive officer and chief financial officer, respectively, at Herbein, Reading.

Meredith Fitzpatrick was hired as international director for cryptocurrency investigations and compliance at Forensic Risk Alliance.
