MISSOURI

The Growth Partnership, St. Louis, announced the final deadline for participating in the Rosenberg Survey, the prominent benchmarking report on the accounting profession, is July 15. Firms should go to www.rosenbergsurvey.com to participate; in doing so, they will receive the 200-page survey report.

BKD CPAs & Advisors, Springfield, announced that BKDforesight, powered by Synario, received the firm’s 2021 Innovation of the Year Award. Launched in October 2020, BKDforesight is a predictive analytics health care financial modeling tool designed to provide vital information on how future changes, challenges and decisions can affect an organization. The award is voted on by members of BKD’s Growth and Innovation Governance Committee.

NEW JERSEY

Ryszard Jania, partner-in-charge of the New Jersey office of Marks Paneth, was named to NJBIZ’s Accounting Power 50 list, recognizing the state’s most influential people in the accounting profession.

Chris Henderson was promoted to principal at REDW, Albuquerque, where he has worked since 2016.

James Aronoff

James Aronoff was hired as a managing director, and Charles Campbell as a director, in the restructuring and dispute resolution practice, at CohnReznick, New York.

The Deloitte Foundation, New York, is collaborating with Ohio State University to create a need-based scholarship fund to support diverse students pursuing professional services careers at the university’s Max M. Fisher College of Business. A total of $180,000 was raised through contributions from Deloitte professionals and Deloitte Foundation matching gifts, and will provide tuition support for Master of Accounting students as well as programmatic support for the college’s Project THRIVE.

Asker Saeed from Saeed Consulting Group was retained by Berdon, New York, to enhance its diversity, equity and inclusion strategy.

NORTH CAROLINA

Dixon Hughes Goodman, Charlotte, announced it raised more than $160,000 to fund scholarships in partnership with the National Association of Black Accountants. The DHG LIFT Scholarship will provide two to three students annually with a $10,000 scholarship, with the first two recipients announced June 23 and awarded to students Dania Espinal from the College of New Jersey and Michael Idaewor from the University of Georgia.

PENNSYLVANIA
