The Georgia Society of CPAs, in collaboration with Feeding Georgia, raised $347,537.38, the equivalent of nearly 1.4 million meals, for annual fundraising campaign Georgia Accounting Food Fight. The Georgia Accounting Food Fight, timed each year to restock the food banks after the summer surge they experience due to the conclusion of the school year, is a two-week competition during which accounting professionals compete to raise funds for nine food banks across the state.
