The board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, Norwalk, reappointed Candace Wright for a third two-year term as chair of the Private Company Council and named new member David Pesce to a three-year term on the PCC, with both terms beginning Jan. 1, 2022. CohnReznick, New York, announced it is realigning its advisory practice to better address client needs, renaming the practice the global consulting solutions team with Kristen Soles, managing partner, leading the team while also continuing to serve as leader of the government contracting industry practice. Claudine Cohen and Frank Banda will continue in their roles of, respectively, leader and managing principal of the transaction and turnaround practice, and leader and managing partner of the government and public sector practice. As part of the advisory services realignment, the firm’s government advisory services, which include compliance and monitoring, emergency management and program/project management, are being fully integrated into the firm’s government industry practice. In other firm news, Alan Solarz was hired as managing director in the national tax practice and Steven Courtade as managing director in the restructuring and dispute resolution practice.
