Two firms establish a new one in Arkansas, CCG grows in Southwest Florida, and more combinations from across the country.
ARKANSAS: Two firms form HCJ CPAs
Jones & Co. was formed in 1975, and is based in Jonesboro, while Hudson Cisne started in 1987 and has three offices across the state. Both are members of the BDO Alliance.
The combined firm will have 90 employees, with offices in Little Rock, Jonesboro, White Hall and Rogers. Little Rock will serve as the firm’s headquarters, and Karen Garrett of Hudson Cisne will serve as managing partner.
Gary Adamson, CEO of Adamson Advisory LLC, advised both firms on the merger.
FLORIDA: CCG merges in Mary E. Lewis-McGlaughlin
The combined firms will operate under the CCG CPAs named, with offices in Fort Myers and Naples.
CCG has been providing tax and accounting services to clients in Southern Florida for over 30 years, while Lewis-McGlaughlin has been in business for over 20, offering financial guidance, tax and accounting services.
KENTUCKY: Strothman to merge with Charles W. Ward
A privately held accounting practice, Charles W. Ward III CPA was founded in 1997; Ward himself will be staying with Strothman, which was founded in 1983. Ward has been a strategic partner and referral source for Strothman and Co. for many years.
The combined firm will have 80 employees in three offices in Louisville, Southern Indiana, and Middletown.
MARYLAND: Buchbinder Tunick adds Iwanczuk
Michael Iwanczuk and Mario Iwanczuk will join Buchbinder as partners, and will continue working out of their current office in Columbia.
Iwanczuk was founded in 2005, while Buchbinder Tunick has been in business for over 75 years, with offices in Bethesda, New York City, and Little Falls, N.J.
