Chalfont, Pennsylvania, firm DunlapSLK saw 42 of its staff members pack meals for nonprofit Feed My Starving Children; and Alabama-based firm BMSS LLC’s Birmingham offices volunteered with a number of local charitable organizations throughout October.

“We’re deeply rooted and connected in our communities and involved in local business and social organizations,” stated BMSS CEO Don Murphy.
Employees from BMSS’ Gadsden and Huntsville offices, as well as its wealth management sister company, BMSS Wesson, plan on volunteering in their local communities before the end of the year.
“As a member of the business community, we are committed to giving back to the community in which we live and work,” said chief practice officer John Shank in a statement. “We value our commitment to service and are honored to host firmwide service days where all employees will be given the chance, and are highly encouraged, to provide community service in their local areas.”

The event was run by Kevin McPoyle, president of Warrington, Pennsylvania-based firm KMRD Partners, who oversaw volunteers hand-packing meals to deliver to children in need.
