Product news: Chargebee updates subscription management software, adds integrations

Chargebee, which makes a subscription management platform, has released its Fall 2019 software updates. Subscription-based software is on the rise, especially among accountants and their clients moving from on-premise software to the cloud. The new updates from Chargebee include support for complex quote-to-cash workflows, and for businesses selling to and based in Europe. Also new are integrations and enhanced support for Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Avalara, TaxJar, Active Campaign, Stitch and more to enable functions across the revenue cycle.

Avii has added new features to its practice management platform. With the new tax functions in Avii Workspace, client information and communications are handled through a single portal that handholds and automates the entire process. A single piece of software identifies missing or conflicting information and alerts participants for a follow-up or confirmation. The Avii dashboard shows progress as it occurs and the current status of the clients’ projects at all times.

Onguard, which makes software to manage the order-to-cash process, has named Marieke Saeij its new CEO, effective Nov. 1, 2019. Saeij has been the chief technology officer at Onguard for three years and is the successor of Bert van der Zwan, who held the positions of Chairman of the Board and CEO for over four years. Van der Zwan will continue to be involved in several other boards within the portfolio of Main Capital, Onguard’s investors. Saeij will be focusing on further international growth and expanding the platform by integrating new best-of-breed solutions and intelligent technologies, including artificial intelligence.
