As tax season opens, Accounting Blockchain Coalition adds crypto tax platform

Verady, which makes the cryptocurrency tax and accounting platform Ledgible, has joined the Accounting Blockchain Coalition as a member. The ABC generates working papers, education and other resources on important issues around cryptoassets and the tax and accounting ecosystem in the United States as well as globally. Verady will now contribute to that output.

Verady joins the coalition just in time for the opening of tax filing season for 2021, Feb. 12. New for tax year 2020, Form 1040 includes the virtual currency question front and center. The ABC aims to provide objective, industry resources and community for organizations involved with cryptoassets and blockchains in accounting.

BKD CPAs and Advisors has partnered with TP Tuned to serve as a reseller of the software company’s documentation software, Reptune. Reptune is a cloud-based solution for multinational companies to coordinate and prepare their global transfer pricing documentation.

AccountMate version 12 available, includes TaxJar integration

AccountMate, which provides customizable accounting and business management software, has released a software update for its SQL (Structured Query Language) version. AccountMate Version 12 includes integration with TaxJar, which provides sales tax calculations and reporting as well as an automated sales tax management process.
