The Internal Revenue Service warned tax preparers that it will conduct maintenance on the e-Services and e-File systems over the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

Systems will be unavailable from midnight Eastern Time on Friday, May 24, through 7 a.m. EST on Tuesday, May 28.

The e-Services’ Transcript Delivery System, TIN Matching, ACA and e-file application will not be available during this time. The Modernized e-File systems will also be unavailable.

The IRS asked that tax professionals refrain from accessing MeF systems to transmit business, individual or state returns, retrieve acknowledgments or submit service requests. Tax pros can also monitor the MeF Status Page for updates.
