Ephesoft makes document management and process automation software that is customizable for both cloud-based and on-premise architectures, so companies can apply their document capture processes across different networks, departments and locations. Ephesoft’s Capture-as-a-Service offers a subscription-based model with an OpenAPI solution that can be helpful to companies with widespread operations.

“Today’s businesses struggle with reams of documents and large volumes of unstructured data,” said Nick Vellani, advisory practice leader for the Central region at Grant Thornton, in a statement. “This creates workflow and collaboration nightmares — which is where Ephesoft comes in.”
Grant Thornton has already deployed the Ephesoft platform for several clients to help modernize their tax functions. The firm also uses Ephesoft’s platform in-house to improve the tax services it provides to clients.
“When we saw how easily the Ephesoft Smart Capture platform plugged into our tech environments — and the benefits it provided to our professionals — we knew it was something our clients could benefit from as well,” added Vellani.
