The annual list ranks CPA firms by revenue, and is paired with our Regional Leaders listings, which rank firms by revenue in 10 sub-regions of the United States.
Big Four firm Deloitte topped the list, with almost $15 billion in revenue, followed by PwC ($11.8 billion), Ernst & Young ($9.9 billion) and KPMG ($6.87 billion).
The full report includes information on which practice areas are seeing the most growth, with attest, M&A services, and state and local tax leading the pack as well as which issues are of greatest concern to the firm’s executives. Recruiting and retaining qualified staff remains a major worry for firms all across the country.
This year’s Top 100 Firms roster included several new firms, including Chicago’s FGMK, New York and New Jersey’s SaxBST, Boston’s Wolf & Co., and Michigan’s Yeo & Yeo.
