The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has announced the launch of a new digital certificate for its professionals, meant to quickly verify CFP status via email signatures, websites and various social media platforms.
“CFP professionals have met the rigorous professional standards set by CFP Board and should be proud of their achievement,” stated CFP Board CEO Kevin Keller. “In our technology driven society, the digital certificate makes it easier for CFP professionals to share their qualifications with peers, clients and prospects. It is also a tool for consumers to verify their CFP professional’s certification and supports our mission of providing competent and ethical financial planning advice.”
CFP professionals can access their digital certificates through their CFP Board accounts. The digital certificate can be added to their websites or email signatures, social media networks such as LinkedIn and Twitter, and they can access a downloaded PDF copy.
