Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, a firm based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, is expanding to Maryland by adding RLH CPAs & Business Advisors, effective June 1, 2019.
The merger will extend BSSF’s footprint south and grow the size of their firm to over 130 employees. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BSSF’s net revenues were over $14 million last year and the firm will be adding $4 million in net revenues by merging in RLH.
RLH has seven partners, who will be joining BSSF’s 18-member principal team. BSSF currently has 93 employees and will be adding 31 employees total, including their partner, with merging in RLH.
“RLH is an excellent firm with a great reputation, and culturally our firms are very similar,” said BSSF managing principal and president Ken Wolfe in a statement. “We are excited for what the continued growth and expansion of our Firm means for our clients and the areas we can serve.”
Thanks to the merger, BSSF will become a five-office firm by adding locations in Hanover, Pennsylvania; Frederick, Maryland; and Westminster, Maryland to its current office locations in Camp Hill and Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
“RLH is committed to providing the best for our clients, and we look forward to joining a firm like BSSF that will allow us to add and strengthen our expertise and service areas,” stated RLH co-managing partner Ryan Hastings. “This is an opportunity that benefits our clients, and like BSSF, we truly believe in helping our clients achieve extraordinary outcomes.”
“Like RLH, BSSF has been a Best Place to Work in PA for a number of years,” said RLH co-managing partner Karl Lehman in a statement. “Not only are they a highly regarded firm in the community, but also amongst their team. I am very pleased to be merging with a firm that has the same level of care for their team as we do.”
