BCS ProSoft, a technology services firm and provider of Sage, Deltek and NetSuite business management systems, has finalized a merger with Platinum level Sage 100 partner Steward Consulting Inc. BCS will acquire substantially all the assets of SCI, and the transaction will close on Sept. 1, 2018.
BCS ProSoft is No. 55 on Accounting Today’s VAR 100 list for 2018.
The acquisition expands BCS ProSoft’s Sage 100 practice and professional services by adding an office with eight employees in Tulsa, Oklahoma. BCS will also benefit from an expanded presence in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri, where SCI hosts Sage customer conferences and is active in Sage 100 user groups.
Both BCS and SCI have been consistently ranked as Top Sage 100 partners in the U.S. and are both Sage Master Developers since becoming business partners with the company and its predecessors in the early 1990s. The plan is for the merged firms to propagate BCS’ position in delivering business software solutions for accounting and financial management, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, human capital management, manufacturing, distribution and rental.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the team from SCI to the BCS family,” stated BCS president William Vespe. “Darin built an incredible organization and I’m confident our new team members in Tulsa will continue to add value to our existing Sage clients. In addition to having new staff in our support, consulting, upgrade and development departments, their deep expertise in Sage 100 and JobOps as well as other solutions are a huge win for our collective clients.”
“BCS is a valued Sage reseller who shares our goals of exceptional quality customer service and our vision for helping customers achieve the needed results from their business software solutions,” said SCI founder and CEO, Darin Steward, in an announcement letter to SCI clients. “BCS will be able to provide our clients with greater resources to improve their use of Sage 100, along with other Sage Software products and add-ons solutions as their businesses continue to change.”
Darin Steward will leave the firm to join Scanco as the vice president of professional services, with an emphasis on sales of JobOps (Sage 100c Manufacturing). The rest of the SCI team will transition to BCS when the merger is complete.
SCI will continue to be located in its existing offices in Tulsa after the completion of the transaction.
