The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants announced this week the top 18 candidates who received top marks during the June 2017 exam sittings.
The ACCA looks to recognize the highest aggregate scores of the five professional level exams globally, with the top three winners receiving the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. All 18 winners will also receive a certificate and cash prize.
"The prize-winners all achieved outstanding results by getting the highest marks in their exams globally," stated Alan Hatfield, executive director strategy and development at the ACCA. "We’ve also seen a growing number of students taking computer-based exams (CBE) session-based exams, which are designed to reflect the real world skills required by employers."
"The core of passing any ACCA exam is practice," said Ashish Thakkar, F6 Taxation Prize-winner, per a statement. "Accountancy is a great career to be in, but it requires hard work, interest, and passion."
